Profile Verification Link Error

Hi There,

I was playing around with a custom code in my template using:



<?php echo ESR::profile(array('layout' => 'submitVerification'));?>



index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=profile&layout=submitVerification&Itemid=169


that links to submit a profile verification form. My test profile was previously verified but I went to the backend and unverified my test profile/user. Then manually going to the verification form link, I get an Error 500 This feature is not available.

I know that the link will not appear in edit profile when a person has already requested a verification but having a 500 error is harsh maybe an Alert instead saying: "You have already submitted a verification request, please contact site admin to..."

Thanks for your input, we will see if we can change that sentences as what you suggested.

Any update on this?
There is already an existing EasySocial menu link that can be created for a member to use to request verification....but if they are already verified they get a 500 error. It makes the menu unusable for us.

Hey Marc,

This should be included the latest version of Easysocial, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

If the user already requested this before, system will return him this following message.

You have already submitted a verification request. For more information please contact site admin.


If this message still not appear for you, perhaps you can start a new thread on our forum and provide us with your site backend and FTP access so we can better have a check.
