Hello Stackideas,

Profile unlocker is faulty again on my website.

(1) Users are not transitioning from visitor to testified visitor
(2) If I add points incrementally from the backend, when I get to a total of 5, 6. or 7 the following error occurs oo few arguments to function EasySocialModelProfiles::updateUserProfile(), 2 passed in /var/www/vhosts/divinelooks.net/httpdocs/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/profile_unlocker/profile_unlocker.php on line 46 and exactly 3 expected
Hi there,

(1) Users are not transitioning from visitor to testified visitor

This users will transitioned when he/she achieved a new points threshold. As from i what understand, you assigned them some points manually on your backend, and expected them to switch profile once you done that. Currently, you need to wait for that user to achieved another points and then they will be switched to designated profile.

Or maybe i have wrongly understand your requirement, it would be best if you can provide us with how to replicate this issues on my end. Please advice.

If I add points incrementally from the backend, when I get to a total of 5, 6. or 7

Honestly, i am not sure how to replicate this actually. Can you provide us with better explanation or steps on how to replicate this.

Please advice.

Hi Abdul,

There are in fact two problems that I wanted to mention and they may be related

(A) User-Points cannot be unselected. Go to user-points menu. Select User-points - Points. Sort based on status to show the published ones. Try to unpublish all and you will see that it does not work. Or try to unpublish everything except the follow and unfollow and you will see that it does not work. At the moment, I'm only using follow - unfollow to assign points.

(B) Profile-Locker fails. It was set up to transition from Visitor to Testified-Visitor at 5 points. Then Testified-Visitor to Member at 10 points. I noticed that the account that I created for you is at 5 points and yet it did not transition.

To replicate.....

Add one point at a time to any of the user Testett, Jose, Linh until you get to 8 points. (1) It will not transtion (2) you should experience a crash of joomla (at the back end).

Although the site is in 'production' I don't have any real users, so please feel free to re-install easysocial. I have overrides which I don't want to lose, but all core easysocial files can be replaced.

Thank you!

It seems that we can replicate this, i have created a ticker internally and this will be included on our next release version.

Yes, currently, it is because you are using ES 2.0 apps and it is not compatible with your current Easysocial version that is ES 2.1. By the way, i have logged this issue internally and this will be included on our next release version.

Thanks for your understanding.
