Hello!
In EasySocial, the user can request "verification", which gives the user the opportunity to get the "Verified" icon next to his name, however, if you create a "Verified" Profile Type, then there is no "Required user verification" option in the "Registration Type" setting.
Why?
After all, in addition to the "verified" icon, you can give the "Verified user" more functions than the "Registered user".

Can create a function: Change the profile type during verification?

Not sure if I understand the above correctly but when you said 'create a Verified profile type', do you mean by enabling the 'Set Users as Verified Automatically' option from the profile type's setting? If yes, the 'Required user activation' option in 'Registration Type' is still supported even if the 'Set Users as Verified Automatically' setting enabled.

By the way, it seems like your EasySocial Pro license is already expired on 3rd Aug, 2019. Please consider to renew your EasySocial Pro license in order for us to continue to support you.

Please advise.

No. I mean the following:
There Is A Profile Type - "Registered Users". where can I configure the restriction of functions of this type of Profile. I want to create another type of profile "Verified Users", for which it is supposed to expand the functionality.
I think that in the profile setting "Registration Type" you need to add the function "Type Change during Verification", so that in addition to the appearance of the "Verified" mark, the profile type would also change, while the Profile Type "Verified" Would be Included in the Profile Type "Registered Users", By Analogy with the Profile Types in Joomla: "Registered", "Author", "Administrator".

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the above, may I know which EasySocial version you are currently using? If you are using the latest version of EasySocial 4.0.10, you should be able to control the user access from within the profile type itself.

As for the 'Registration Type' in the profile type, this setting is to control how the registration process flow should behave. Since user can only be 'verified' after they have registered, adding the profile type switching in this setting is not making sense in my opinion.

Also, profile type in EasySocial do not work like how Joomla user group's inheritance work. To put this simple, EasySocial's profile type do not support sub-profile type.

Hope this help.

Thank you for the answer.
It is a pity that there is no nesting of profiles and there are "by default" two types of profiles that, in addition to the User's icon that he is verified, would change his profile type from "Registered User" to "Verified User" during "verification".
It seems to me. that it should be so. Or you can do it another way:
Make additional settings in the Profile Type in "Access Control":
When setting Limits for this Type of Profile, Enable the function that makes it possible to Increase the Limits for this Type of Profile, if the User passes the "verification" and gets a Tick.
You can also enable more functions for "Paid subscriptions" here Also changing the Limits Of The Profile Type.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the above, if I understand correctly, you will have two profile types in EasySocial, one is 'registered users' (for normal users), another one is 'Verified Users' (for users who are verified by site admin).

When a normal users request for verification, upon admin approval, if admin approve user's verification request, this user will automatically 'moved' to 'Verified' profile type?

If the above are correct, then what we can propose to you is to create a custom plugin that will perform the above.

Let us know if the above work for your or not.

By the way, may I know which EasySocial version you are currently installed on your site? This is because the proposal above will only work in latest version of 4.0.10.

Please advise.

Yes. I think that either it is worth making a plugin ... or you just need to include a function like a profile for creating the rules: increase the limits in case this type of profile is: "verified", "bought a subscription" and "receives a disputed number of points" , as well as so that you can make a rule yourself .... I think that this functionality for many customers will be very useful and will allow them to change the type of profile to flexibly manage permits for it ...

It seems to me that this will be better than a plugin.

Currently in EasySocial profile type's ACL, it is used to control user's access in EasySocial. I not too sure what do you mean by adding Limit settings. Are you saying, for an example the user point limit rule, when users in 'Verified' profile type, they get more user points than other users from other profile type? E.g.
Users in Verified profile type will get 10 user points for posting new story, whereas
Users in Registered profile type will get 5 user points for posting new story?

Anyway, for the custom plugin, please see below summary of this customisation:

1. To create a custom Joomla plugin:

1.1 In this plugin, admin will be able to configure in plugin edit page which profile type a user will be switched to when admin approve the user's verification request.

1.2 When admin approve a user's verification request, this custom plugin will automatically 'moved' the user from their current profile type into the configured profile type from 1.1

If the above are correct, then we can provide you this customisation at the rate of USD 480 and we will require 5 working days to work on this custom work.

Please advise.

Almost so.
In the profile type Settings, there are limits not only for points, but also for Photos, Videos, groups, etc.
I think it's worth it if limits are enabled for the profile type, it's worth additionally changing the limits based on:
- "verifications" (if "verified", the limit will increase),
- "Subscriptions" (if you have subscribed, the limit will increase),
- "Set a certain number of points" (if you have scored a certain number of points, the limit will increase).

Such functions will make the Profile Type settings more flexible.

Creating a separate plugin will be less attractive and interesting. It is better that this is included in the settings themselves.
