Profile type --> avatar and cover picture

Hi,

When you register at the website, you need to choose an avatar and cover image.
Is it possible to remove those fields? If we try to remove it, it gives a error those fields are required.
But if there is a default avatar and cover image, why can't I remove those fields on the register form?
Hi Christian,
Those fields are mandatory because it is required by all users. The default avatars are populated into these fields as well.
You can hide these fields in the frontend by configuring the view section of the custom field(http://take.ms/j6pQC).
