Hm, did you create any template overrides on your end? I have just tested this locally and the profile link does actually uses the user's permalink instead of /profile.

P/S: I am currently out of town, so my network connectivity is bad and can't connect to your site to check.

Ok yes, we had an override on the toolbar file.

I updated it to latest version, now works.

BUT.

We have the default menu layout as our "main" menu for the site, which also includes a joomla menu item which uses the EasySocial » Profile Types » Profile menu type. This still loads /profile. Is there a workaround for that?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

If you click on this "Profile" menu item, it will use /profile as your permalink, unfortunately that was not work around if using menu item.
