You don't really need EasySocial unless you want an extensive profile system, activity stream and more social elements like Facebook. EasyDiscuss alone does have it's own profile system

Hello, Mark! I'm also interested on the second question he made... about the possibility of uploading an avatar to EasyDiscuss. I have a project using only EasyDiscuss and Komento, and can't find a way of making the profile able to be edited. Thank you in advance,

Yes, that was possible to allow user upload their avatar in Easydiscuss, you can give it a try from our demo site http://easydiscuss.stackideas.com/profile/edit

password : password
