Sorry for late reply to this,

After took some time investigate on this, it seems like your tmp log folder is not writable, which mean that when you trying to upload avatar in your site, first it will store in your temporary folder (tmp), but hitting file permission issues, so it will not change your avatar.
Check my screenshot below. Can you consult with your Webhosting provider to help you set this 2 directory to writable permission?

i have give all permission to log and tmp directory using ftp. still its shows dirrectory is not writable. is there any other way to make directory writeable.
