Support,

I have set up several EasySocial profiles with a group of Custom Fields. Works great, but I'm trying to figure out how to set the default access level for a Custom Field.

When a user registers on the site, all the Custom Fields are set to World Shared with Everyone.

Can I configure the Profile to have a Custom Field with default Access = My Friends or Only Me?

Other wise the user needs to go through their profile and change their data access on all the fields individually.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Daniel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

You can configure the default privacy settings for each profile types by going to your backend > easysocial > select your profile > privacy tab > configure all the privacy according to your need and check the following box here, http://screencast.com/t/5ye5sSagB1d9 . You can also change the privacy globally by going to your backend > easysocial > privacy, http://screencast.com/t/RV947gTh .

Hope these help.

Ezrul,

Thank you so much for your response. Just the information that I needed.

Made the changes to each of the profiles and now the Custom Fields default to the configured access protection.

I know there was a way, just didn't remember where.
