Hi guys,

Is it possible to require that a user properly completes their profile following quick registration and once this is done, to move them to a different user group which has more complete access to the resources of the site?

Yes, you can, once the user has registered into the site, you can change the user user group by:

How do I ensure that they complete their full profile once they have done a quick registration?

Hi Paula Livingstone,

If user register through the quick registration all the field in the quick registration is compulsory/required to fill in.
Let say you've required another field (eg: relationship field), the user still succeed to register in the site without fill the relationship field because by default, it will do the checking only for the quick registration field only

Yes thats fine, Is it possible to allow quick register with perhaps 5 items and then at some later stage make it necessary for a user to complete some further registration items.

I want to enable users to register as easily as possible but I also want them to complete some further detail when they begin to use the real (main) features of the site.

Hi Paula Livingstone,

Unfortunately, for quick registration it cannot be done as you prefer above, you can change the option from the setting (Setting>generals>Login>Quick Registration Mode- Full) http://screencast.com/t/LKs3g2RH where after user fill the field in the quick registration they will redirected to the full form of register where need them to fill the require field in order to complete the registration

OK how about an alternative. How do I change the redirect page that a new registrant will land on next after completing quick registration?

Hi Paula,

The redirection after sign up/registration is depend on how work flow that you've set in the profile type.
