Hi all. I keep seeing the "profile completeness" alert on the front end (which I want, generally) even though the Settings > Users > Include Optional Fields is set to No.

In the backend with a test user, I filled in every field, and even then I still see the "Your profile is 87% complete. Complete your profile now" alert. (It's also ALWAYS stuck at 87%, even when I remove values from fields.)

Is this a known bug? I was given a new "fields" file to address a previous issue (about defaulting to the About page). Could this be related?
Hi Amy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. I've try to replicate at my local but it work fine. I also have register you site and still that profile stuck at 61%.

Is it possible for you to provide us with FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Ok, done, but I opened a new thread to input FTP details (wasn't sure how to do that on an existing thread).

Thanks!

Hey Amy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply, got a little occupied with some development works. I have applied some fixes for you on the site, can you give this a try again?

By the way, your site looks really nice! Well done

Thank you! I appreciate that, especially since I have always admired the UX of the StackIdeas products and site.

As for this issue, it works much better! Oddly, it seems to ignore the "perma-link" field. If all other fields are filled in except this, the alert goes away. IOW, the completeness score is not affected by the permalink field at all.

Luckily, I don't care, but something to be aware of, as it may point to some other bug.

Thanks for fixing the main issue!

Hey Amy,

It will only report as "not completed" if the field is set as required or the settings for "Include Optional Field" is enabled

Yup, got it. Still acting funky. "Include Optional" is enabled and applying to all other optional fields, but oddly, the perma-link field doesn't seem to affect the score either way. No matter, just thought you should know!

Hey Amy,

Thanks for the heads up on the matter! We will keep this one in mind for the future release of EasySocial
