Hi..

I have one project wich i have 6 profile types.
I need to hide complete profile based in profile type.
I saw one post click here that support is saying that is possible.
Please can someone confirm this?
Thanks in advance

Kazuo
Hi,

The fields privacy rules mainly just splits all the field to have their individual rules so that administrator can set a default privacy for each field individually.

Previously, because all fields are sharing the same privacy rule, if you were to set the field to be "Only Me" by default, all the fields will suffer from the same default value. Because this is not ideal hence in 1.3, we've split all fields to have individual rules so that you can set Address or Birthday field to use "Only Me" by default, and other fields to be Public by default.

Regarding your "hide complete profile" issue, could you elaborate on that? I don't quite understand what you mean here. If you are looking to disable the feature of "check for profile completion", then headover to backend -> Settings -> User and disable the profile completion feature.

Hello Alexandre,

I am really sorry but unfortunately this is not possible currently to restrict users from viewing other profile types.

Sorry but I don't really understand what are you referring to here? The link that you shared is more about privacy of the custom fields and its not for allowing / disallowing different profile types to view the information.
