Hello I have just purchased your professional system with your install.

Please find attached the details... i have made a blog space on the top menu where i would this to be.

Do you need any other information?

The domain is not pointing to the hosting server at the moment.

Thanks

Craig
Hello Craig,

There is a fatal error after installing easyblog on your site. Please contact your web hosting provider to increase the:
memory_limit to 128MB

Link System Requirements --> http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/installation/system-requirements

Thanks

Thanks

I have changed the php.ini

to:

max_execution_time = 120
upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M
memory_limit = 128M
display_errors = 0
register_globals = 0
output_buffering = 0
magic_quotes_gpc = '0'

Hopefully this is correct?

Thanks

Craig

Hello Craig Davies,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have help you installed the Easyblog in your site, but it seems like when i open the Easyblog frontpage i getting this fatal error :

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes)

Mean your site memory already reached the limit's, is it possible request to your webhosting provider to help you increase the memory_limit to 256MB ? Please advise.
If after your webhosting help you increased, the Easyblog frontpage still getting same fatal error, please refer back to us.

Also, i have tried to access in your FTP, i getting this :

Response: 530 Login failed. Please verify the username and password supplied, and that FTP has been unlocked. Check your control panel or contact support for more information.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

Hello Craig Davies,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Do you mean that you would like to set up the remote publishing in your Easyblog right?
Actually the Cpanel is manage by your Webhosting provider, you should request with your webhosting provider to get the Cpanel access.

Hi Arlex,

Sadly they do not have cpanel... its their own scripting.

I am only a basic user so having trouble trying to setup... i have asked for the path details to setup the cronjobs... this is the reply

You wouldn't used to be able to use wget to grab full paths as we block loopback connections. You'd have to use full paths ie /home/sites/sussexpestcontrol.com/public_html/index.php option=com_easyblog task=cron

/usr/bin/wget is the path.

Does this make sense to you?

Many thanks

Craig

Hello Craig Davies,

That strange
If you do not have the Cpanel access that mean you not able to set up the cronjob in your site.
See my cronjob documentation : http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/how-tos/setting-up-cronjobs-in-cpanel (we need to access the Cpanel only can help you configure of this)
If your webhosting provider really do not have that access in Cpanel, i think you have to consider to change another webhosting provider and see how it goes.
