Hello Alex.

May I know how do you test this issue? Did you wait according the time interval or you just see the easydiscuss mail activity? because subscription email will not show up in mail activity until it reach the time interval your subscriber specify.

Hello Alex,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Hm. This is quite tricky to test as it time-based and must wait quite some time in order to see the result. We will test this locally and inform you the result later on. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Hi Alex Lee,

Sorry for late reply to this,

it seems like you provided that latest login credential is not working.

After 3 times failed, then i get banned.
Too many login attempts (Autobanned)

Can you provide us following details as well?
#1. Joomla backend access
#2. Cpanel access which you configure for cronjob in your site.

Hi Alex Lee,

it okay, I also apologized that delayed of this reply,

First I have checked in your cronjob command, i noticed you configured that cronjob command is using this domain name ->
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://xxx-21.org/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron"

But you provided us that site name is http://clients.xxx-xxx.com/v14/xxx33, so I already help you setup 1 more cronjob for your current site.
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://clients.xxx-xxx.com/v14/xxx33/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron"

Now your cronjob should be work now. Then I try using my email address (arlex.wong@stackideas.com) subscribed in your discussion site, and I submit Notification interval - Daily.

After that I created a new discussion post, then the system send email notification to your current site user -> http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-25_0202.png but it didn't sent to my subscriber first, by right it should auto send to me another day.

Can you give it a try first? because as my colleague mentioned in previous reply, this notification interval can't get the result immediately.

keep us updated then.

Ok sorry mate i'm starting to get confused on where i'm workin got so much going on with the site i got confused,

Ok so the clients.xxx is the Dev site, so appologies for that i don't think its working on either site so no prob.

all the notifications work and the Email activity shows that but as you have said i can't see the Subscriptions emails go out.

attached is the Live site, you can test on Dev site to see if it works as on live site people get notified about it.

Just to make sure Daily means every day it send at a certain time right?

did you getthe subscription email today?

hi Alex Lee,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Yes, I didn't get any email today, then I checked back again from your dev site backend email activity, it seems like i missed up see properly those email notification is actually only send to moderator regarding which discussion is "under moderation".

By the way, can I have your live site Joomla backend and FTP access again? because I would like directly check on your live site.
because those login credential you provided is not working. I remember I asked you but you provide me for your dev site access.

Looking forward of your response.

Hi Alex Lee,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I have do some testing here, this is my following testing step :

STEP 1 : I've created 3 different user account in your site
#1. Stackideasarlexpartner - instant (Kingleyjack90@hotmail.com) - subscriber
#2. stackideasarlex - daily (arlexw90@hotmail.com) - subscriber
#3. arlexwong - moderator for this category (Vaccine products) - arlex.wong@stackideas.com

STEP 2 : I using other user account create a "test post" discussion in your site (so this discussion post is under moderation)
STEP 3 : This moderator user (arlex.wong@stackideas.com) received an email address and approval this discussion.
STEP 4 : The system will send out the new discussion post email notification to subscriber (e.g. kingleyjack90@hotmail.com). Check my screenshot below.
STEP 5 : By right this subscriber (arlexw90@hotmail.com) will received an email notification for this on tomorrow.

By the way, I will check again tomorrow the email activity from your site.

Hi Alex Lee,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,

I've checked back the result, it seems like my 2 subscriber account get removed from your user manager.
#1. Stackideasarlexpartner - instant (Kingleyjack90@hotmail.com) - subscriber
#2. stackideasarlex - daily (arlexw90@hotmail.com) - subscriber

By the way, I already create another 3 account for this second test purpose.
stackideas1 - sweetmacus90@hotmail.com (instant) subscriber
stackideas2 - kingleyjack90@hotmail.com (daily) subscriber
stackideas3 - arlexw90@hotmail.com (daily) subscriber

And put some debug code in this 2 file, I will keep you update regarding this tomorrow morning.
