Problems with stream items after installing EB5

Hi Guys.
Installed EB5.07 and upgraded to EB 5.08 today. Since then, stream items under "Everyone" are no longer appearing, both on the main "News Feed" page or groups. If I switch the view to followers, or "Me and Friends" then I can see items.
I've checked in the back-end and all the stream items are there.
Please could someone look into this as a matter or urgency as nothing is showing on the stream.

Update:
As soon as I deleted all the items generated in the stream by easyblog, all remaining stream items returned...
I will test this by creating a new blog entry and see what happens.

Update 2:
Okay, created a blog entry from the back-end and the items in the stream have not disappeared. However, what is weird is that in the Admin stream manager I can see

IT Advice Admin Created new blog post. N/A N/A

In the stream itself, there is no stream item for the blog post. I wonder if this is somehow confusing EasySocial?

This issue come from the easyblog apps. May I know did you still hit this issue?
