Hi guys,

I am currently using the rss feed functionality from easyblog and have several problems:

1. If I browse with chrome the feed http://www.userability.de/?format=feed&type=rss is shown as plain text without an option to subscribe. As far as I could see the only settings I can do for that feed are available under components > easyblog > settings > rss

2. Within my RSS feed (http://www.userability.de/?format=feed&type=rss) the links are always in the format: http://www.userability.de/?view=entry&id=15 But since I am working with seo friendly urls (http://www.userability.de/entry/mobile-usability/mobile-optimierte-onlineshops-wie-sieht-die-perfekte-startseite-aus) I would like the rss feed to use them as well (in case the user forwards the link). Can you advice how to solve this?

Thanks & Best regards Nick
Hello Nick,

Actually the rss feed can only work with Firefox browser. If you want to view the rss feed in chrome, you need to install additional chrome plugins such as Google Feedburner in order to view the feed properly.

2. Within my RSS feed (http://www.userability.de/?format=feed&type=rss) the links are always in the format: http://www.userability.de/?view=entry&id=15

This is actually a known issue with easyblog 3.9 and we have already addressed this issue in easyblog 5. Thank you for the heads up on this issue.
