1. I use easyblog more often. Only on one side I have real problems.
The block templates are available but are not displayed when I create a new post. I have no idea why.

You can switch this editor to use default composer from backend > Easyblog > setting > editor > default > Default Editor - build-in composer , I already help you switched to use build-in composer, can you give it a check again is it would like this editor?

2. For the similar page content displayed under the article, I'd like to adjust the dimensions of the photos to 4: 3. Unfortunately, I do not find where you can change that. Very annoying or I'm just too stupid.

Perhaps you can provide us which article photo you would like to change that dimensions so I can better have a look?

3. The automatic reduction of the texts does not work unfortunately and I have no idea why. Is this only for new Blofs and the existing system simply does not?

May i know how many text you would like to show into your blog listing page? Actually the blog listing truncation setting is located at backend > Easyblog > setting > layout > truncation , you can refer on my attached screenshot below.
