We just updated to 3.9.15086...and it was definitely a challenge!! We did not use updater, but downloaded the zip and installed to Joomla in extension manager.

During the process, we received a "can't write file"...then the process stopped. Afterward, all front-end access was disabled, so we ended up changing the existing EasyBlog directory name, then manually installing the files from the install process. Now the version number still displays the old version, the EasyBlog Admin component menu item is gone, and I'm afraid we may be having other issues.

Any way you can take a look at it?

Not sure what happened. Another admin may have disabled the account thinking you were finished!

You should be all set now.

We tried to stay awake to take care of it last night, but it just got too late (or early) for us!

We do want to make sure that the install does not cause a problem for future updater tasks.

Thanks!
