Hello,
my problem is how to post a link. First I tried to select a word and write the link into the hyperlink textbox right of the composer (attachment: post a link1.png). It doesn´t work.
Than I tried to set a link on my photo (attachment: post a link2.png): It doesn´t work as well.
Can you tell me what to do?

Thanks a lot!
Kind regards
Margitta
Hi Ezrul,
now the hyperlink text works fine. Thank you very, very much!!
And so I don´t need the link behind the grafic anymore. Everything is very well.

Thank you for your patience,
kind regards
Margitta

Hi Margitta,

You need to put the link inside the "http" area as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/eitTgdXhAn7

Hi Ezrul, thanks for your help. Really, I didn´t understand what is so easy.
Now I put the link in the right way, but only the hyperlink with the picture works. This one with selected text is still not working....
(And also the setting fontsize bold for the marked word is not being accepted). Do you know another trick?
Best regards
Margitta

Hi Margitta,

I am not sure if I understand you correctly here. Do you mean that the link is not working as it should? Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access as well so we can check on this directly on your site?

Hi Margitta,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. I just tried to use a hyperlink on your site as test post and the link did get generated correctly. Refer my video link here, http://screencast.com/t/MxBoZAZVosO .

Hi Ezrul,
thanks a lot for your video. Sorry for the delay of my answer now.
I see what you did. And there was everything fine.
But if I set your testing post online again it looks like the attachment... And there is no link visible.... Sorry.
And my other problem is the hyperlink behind the picture. It should link to a new window and it links in the same window everytime.
I hope you understand.
Thanks for your help and kind regards
Margitta

Hi Margitta,

Ah I see. It seems like you are referring to your frontpage listing. Since you have set your easyblog frontpage to truncate automatically, easyblog will stripped out any form of html tag inside the content to avoid any unclosed division tag on your site. If you do not want easyblog to strip out html tag on frontpage listing, you can disable the truncation from your backend > easyblog > settings > layout > truncation. If you somehow want to enforce some of your blog post to use truncation but want to retain the html tag on the blog post, you can use "read more" block in order to achieve this.

And my other problem is the hyperlink behind the picture. It should link to a new window and it links in the same window everytime

This is a known issue and we will address this in easyblog 5.0.27 later on. If you want me to apply the fix on your site now, kindly provide us with your FTP access as the provided FTP credentials previously is no longer working. Please advise.
