Hi,

I am trying to migrate my NEWS joomla articles into easyblog NEWS category but the process doesn't finish and I see no information under progress. I've looked online for similar issues and it appears to be quite a popular problem so thought I'd ask for help.

My last attempt I left it running for 1 1/2 hours and only 2 articles were imported. I guess that at least shows something is working although not correctly.

Can you let me know how to proceed please. It's only the articles from the Joomla News category that need to go to the News easyblog category and there's about 45 of them.

Have Installed Version: 5.0.26

Thanks,

Andrew
Hello Andrew,

Can you provide us full access to your backend?

Hi Nick,

Thanks for getting back to me. In the first post I already filled in the site details tab with the admin username and password?

Will add it again to the tab below and see if it stays there after I click on the reply button ;-)

Hello Andrew,

Yes I can see that but I believe it is not full access since I only can access certain page in your backend. I need full access to your backend to troubleshoot this issue.

Sorry. I put you down as Administrator so thought you could access it all.

Have just changed it to Superman User ;-)

That's fantastic. Thanks very much Nick.

Could you let me know the solution in case it happens again on another website I make, plus might help out others searching the forums for the same issue.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

For some reason, you Joomla detect that it is not administrator page hence it fails the process. I just temporary skip the checking process in this file: ../administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/menu.php at line 42.

Ok, thanks.

I'd never have worked that solution out. Thankfully it's rare I need to use the migrating tool.

Have a good day.
