Hi buddies, I'm having some 'strange' behaviour in Komento after upgrading to 1.8.2 release.

If I make some change (e.g., in configuration options or in a language string), changes don't take effect when loading the page. Or the page loads slowly, or shows a fancybox_loading.gif (which it's not showed if I disable Komento)...

I tried refreshing browser cache and deleting Joomla cache, but still the same.

Any suggestion?
Hello,

The date format that you've highlighted above will not follow the date in the setting. The setting date only affect the comment item. You might want to edit this file for the highlighted date format. ../components/com_komento/themes/kuro/comment/form/author.php . As for the language, I've fix it for you. Please have a look. What I did was, delete all .js and .json file in ../media/com_komento/config/ and run this URL from backend http://www.yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_komento&compile=1 .

Hope this helps.

Hello pararrayos,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have check your site and put a css code inside your template: "/css/template.css"

div#fancybox-loading div{
display: none !important;
}

About the "comment, stickies & lovies" it is only visible when the there is a comment on your site.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Yasser, thanks for your action. The 'fancybox-matter' looks solved... anyway, there are still some 'strange' behaviours.

For example, in Komento>integrations>settings>layout>general layout - appearance - date format, I set 'l, j m Y g:i:sa', but this change doesn't take effect, still showing the default format.

Also, in the language string corresponding to COM_KOMENTO_FORM_NOTIFICATION_COMMENT_REQUIRED (you know, when someone push submit button and there's no text for the comment), I had a typo when translating it, and after correct the typo and re-upload the language file, the string remains the same.

Looks like some odd-cache-problem with komento not showing changes.
