Since installing the latest version of Easyblog I notice that there is some difficulty in submitting comments.

1. If one tries to submit a new comment it gets posted, but the small 'progress' icon next to the 'Leave your comment' text (above the avatar) continues to move/refresh and is consistently displayed.

2. If one tries to 'reply' to a previous comment, the icon (as above) keeps refreshing BUT the comment is NOT submitted.
Seems like the problem is resolved in the latest 3.9.15188 release.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Geoff,

Sorry for the late reply as it's the weekends. Is it possible to allow us backend and FTP access so that we can check out your issue? Please advice.

Thanks!

Before we go down the granting access route, I have been doing some testing. Seems that the previous version 3.9.14998 exhibted the same symptoms.

The 'progress icon' is related to the Captcha, which for some obscure reason is not being displayed. Disabling captcha removes the 'refreshing icon'. Do not know why since the captcha is not used for a logged in user!

The other problem is probably unrelated to the capcha, but if one clicks on an existing comments to 'reply' to the comment, the text changes to 'Cancel' but there is nowhere to enter any reply. See screenshot.

Hello Sorry for the late reply. I tested this in my local with no issues at all. I will need to test this on your site. Is it possible to allow us backend and FTP access so that we can check out your issue? Please advice.

Thanks!

I have just tried the latest Easy Blog release (3.9.15086) and it seems to have resolved most of the problems I was seeing. I can reply to posts now, which I couldn't do before.
There is one funny which is that every time one replies, or chooses to reply and cancel's out the 'comments entry' panel seems to double or 'tripple' up the headers and footers. See attached screen print.
Not a problem per se, just a little untidy.

Hello Geoff,

Sorry for the late reply. I tried to replicate your issue but I can't seems to do it on my test site is it possible for you to allow us backend and FTP access to check this out? At the very least we need to know which Joomla version are you using and a video of how to replicate the issue. Please advice.

Thanks!
