1: I have been experiencing a strange problem when uploading avatars from ios. The images all upload fine and show in activity stream, but some of them don't show up as a user avatar.

Regarding the above issue, I can't seem to be able to replicate this issue on your site. I uploaded two avatar image using my phone (Iphone6) and everything seem working correctly. Anyway, looking at the image, it seems like the avatar did not get crop correctly? Do you think you can ask for your user the original photo so that I can test it myself? Please advise.

2: I can tag people in photos on desktop just fine, but I can't figure out how to tag people in photos on mobile devices. Is this option not available on mobile?

Photo tagging only available in desktop version

Hi. I appologize for the late response. This issue slipped my mind for some time.
attached is the image I am having problems with. It's an Iphone6 scrennshot from a facebook image.

Also I can't see any options to rotate images that are sideways or upside down. Is this possible?

It seems like the issue is only happened on iphone 6 view and that particular image that you gave and I am able to replicate this in my local instance. We are still investigate on the issue and will get back to you as soon we find the solution for this. Thank you for your kind understanding.

By the way may I know how the image was produced from your end? Are other similar images got affected too? Please advise.

The Image was produced by taking a screenshot with iphone6 of a facebook Image.

Images made with camera on iphone 6 work fine. The problem seems to be only with screenshots

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as I am trying to figure out what is the caused of this issue.

It seems like when the image height ratio is higher than image width ratio, the problem will occur when uploading the image through smartphone. I just consult with our easysocial developer regarding on this issue and unfortunately the only way to fix this is to manually crop the photo to reduce the height before the upload. Another way is to upload it using pc instead of phone.

Other than that I am sorry but nothing we can do about it . Hope you understand.

Unfortunately currently there is no workaround for the fix on this issue . However I will always try to find a better solution on this issue and I will try to push this into 1.4 or 2.0. Thank you for your kind understanding.
