I know you're probably getting tired of hearing from me, but I have encountered another problem with another client's Easy Blog install. After performing two updates via the Easy Blog dashboard, there is now PHP code in many areas calling for various objects throughout the Easy Blog Component. (see attached). Would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Thanks!
Hello Zane,

I've fixed it for you. Please have a look.

Hi Nick,

I am still having a couple of issues with Easy Blog on this site.

1. When I open the Easy Blog component in admin, i get this message - "You are currently running on Development environment and your javascript files are not compressed. This will cause performance downgrade while using EasyBlog" - I have clicked the "Configure" setting & set the Javascript Compression Mode to "compressed", purged cache, etc. & the error still appears. (see attachments)

2. I also have been attempting to set up autoposting for this client. Using your updated FB integration instructions, I have set up an App called AutoPost City Paint & configured Easy Blog's autoposting parameters. The page I want to post to, which is listed under my client's FB profile, is "City Paint". However, this page does not appear in the listings in the "FaceBook Pages" section of Easy Blog's auto posting config section. Therefore, I cannot direct the posts to go to this page. (see attached) - any suggestions?

Hi Zane,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are shorthanded in this couple of weeks. Please find my answer from your inquiries below.

You need to set system environment to either optimized or static as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/8uf6jH3hZnjG . When development environment mode is choose, the javascript compression mode will always become uncompressed regardless of the compression settings set from the backend.

You need to use the same facebook account that created the page in order for this to work. I've check your client facebook account and it seems like there is no app listing there as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/L8r9qxZqve . You can create the apps for your client's facebook and the logged in the apps into the easyblog autoposting page. After that you should see the facebook pages there.

Hi,
Still having problems with this build.

1. Calls to PHP have returned within the Easy Blog interface (see city_paint.png)

2. Autoposts contain HTML code when appearing in FB - (see city_paint_02.png) - I have noticed this on autoposts from other sites I manage also.

Pleased advise.
Thanks!

Hey Zane,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Can I update EasyBlog to the latest version, 5.0.25 for you on the site? It seems like you are using an older version and this language issue seems to occur because you used the internal update button but there was a bug with this.

Also, if I recalled this correctly we have fixed the issue with Facebook auto posting generating html tags when it is being auto posted on the latest version.

Hi Mark,

I performed the update & cleared all cache, but the problem is still persisting.

Thanks,
Zane

Hey Zane,

I suspect that you used the internal updater to update rather than downloading the new launcher from our site. I have downloaded the latest 5.0.25 from our site and installed it just like how you initially installed EasyBlog and it seems to be working fine now

Can you give this a try again?
