Problem with top area bio

I am recreating Dansandell.com

How do I
1. get rid of white space before recent posts after black area.....I assume that is for bio? Can I turn that off?
2. Keep it a one blogger blog
3. turn off tool bar

Can you please provide us with a screen shot of the area that you are referring to?

I am sorry but I don't quite get what you mean here. What changes are you wanting to do for this?


3. turn off tool bar

The toolbar on the site is already disabled. Am I missing anything here?
