Hello Geniweb,

After you modified that language string, you have to go to your backend > EasyBlog > Click "Clear cache" button at right site
If the language string still show nothing, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Hi,

The solution that Ariex gave us don't work. I will give you the Joomla backend and FTP access to check the problem.

Thanks!

Hello Geniweb,

May i know what constant are you trying to search in language manager? We are hard to tell you what is the happening because we do not know what constant are you trying to search.

If some of the constant can't show out the result, you can directly add the language string in JoomlaFolder\language\overrides\xx-XX.override.ini
Hope this help.

Hi,

Here the list of constant that we try to search:

- COM_EASYBLOG_LEAVE_YOUR_COMMENT
- COM_EASYBLOG_NOTIFICATION_POSTED_BY
- COM_EASYBLOG_POSTED_BY
- COM_EASYBLOG_POSTED_BY_AUTHOR

I will check for the direct overrides.

Thank.

Hello Geniweb,

I am not really sure if I understand you here but I have created an example to add translations for "Read more". Are you referring to the search tool shown here, http://screencast.com/t/9cHSjIIO38 ? I am not really sure how Joomla does it (I will play around with it) but it looks like this search tool only works with the core extensions within Joomla. There could be some API that we might be missing.

As a work around, please find the constants in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini

Okay, it looks like the language string search only searches for text within your current default language file. In other words, it's trying to find the contents in /language/fr-CA/fr-CA.com_easyblog.ini . Since, this file does not exist, you don't see the text

I have created this file for you and placed the default English language constants in this file and you will be able to search it
