Hi there,

I have 2 profile types so far; Verified members and unverified members. I just created unverified members because I want then to have access to their profile, but nothing else until they have passes a verification process. Then they will go into the verified members profile, where they will have full access.

The problem is though, is that ES seems to be acting up. I made it so that "Unverified" is the default profile, but "Verified" leep showing when I go to registration. Also when I click "Switch Profile", it doesnt switch. Preferably I wouldnt even give people an option to change profile, but Es just doesnt seem to be responding to those settings.

I have attached my access details below for you in case you need to check it out

Cheers
Katie
Hello Katie,

I am not entirely sure what are you trying to achieve here. When you create the profiles, they are meant to be displayed in the "Registration" process unless you turn off the option "Allow in Registration" in the Profile settings for that particular profile. I have turned it off for you and that profile shouldn't appear during registration now.

Thanks that helped, I just turned on "Allow in Registration" in Unverified profile and its the only one showing now

I still see "You are currently registering under the profile Unverified members. Switch Profile?" though, even though there is only this 1 profile allowed in registration,

Maybe it would look better if that wasnt there, if there was only 1 profile.

Is there a way I can limit the access these "Unverified members" have? I have looked but cant seem to limit their access to only their profile.

Thanks
Katie

Thanks for the heads up on this Katie, will add this as a feature request for the next release. As for limiting the access, the only way currently is under the "Access" area of the profiles.

Hi Mark,

I just cant seem to make the unverified members, only have access to their profile, and nothing else, especially the other members.

I have set all of the access settings to NO, but still they can view members, send friend requests and follow.

Thanks
Katie

Ill add my details in case you want to have a look

Hello Katie,

Currently there's actually no way to disallow those features per access base unfortunately
