Hello guys, I installed easysocial on my site and it is fantastic. I did override the standard recording, I do not like. I used the quick registration form. But unfortunately it does not work. He tells me that the password was not included even though it is present, so it keeps me going in the recording. Can you help me understand why?

Thanks a lot guys.

Hi,

I tested the registration on your site and successfully created the user test3@google.com

The fix involves quite a number of files + minified script so I can't possibly list the changes down but files that you need to replace from your server are:

/media/com_easysocial/scripts/easysocial-1.2.4.optimized.min.js
/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_email/scripts/content.js

Please note that I've only applied the changes in optimized mode, hence you will have to be on Optimized and Compressed settings (in Backend -> Settings -> System Preferences).

Hello Davide,

Can you give this a try again? I have manually added a patch on your site .

Thanks Mark,
But unfortunately it still does not work. Now the error no longer appears but does not proceed even with the recording. It seems to always check if the email is correct. But do not go along.

Thank you very much,
Davide

P.S.: When you understand where the problem lies kindly tell me which line of code you've changed? Why my site is also localhost. thanks

Hi,

It is mainly because you've placed the quick registration module in an EasySocial registration page. This causes 2 conflicting scripts between quick registration module script and EasySocial's full registration script.

I've added a workaround on your site and it should be working properly now.
