Hello,
I successfully used Locations with my blog posts in 2015 and 2016.
But now, here in 2017, when composing a new blog post (I am using Legacy Editor- JCE) I cannot see anywhere to add the Location! I have tried three different web browsers and two different devices. I have checked my Google API key (unchanged for some years) and there are no access restrictions.

Maybe I am somehow missing where to get into it when composing (after the Easyblog layout waschanged). I cannot find detail about it in the general documentation.

Could you please tell me in simple steps where to find it when creating or editting a blog post?

Many thanks,
Dave
Hello David,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You can set the location of your blog post as you can see here, http://take.ms/LWNoN9

Are you not seeing this button?

Hi, no, I do not see that button nor anything like your screen.

As I said, I have legacy editor set in the settings and I am using JCE.

Attached is my screen. There USED to be a Location button but since the latest releases I cannot find it either on this screen or when clicking the gear icon and clicking on those headings.
Regards,
Dave

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you still using very older version of Easyblog which is 5.0.37 on this domain site (kerr..), that add location icon should appear on + button, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

By the way, may i know do you consider to update your Easyblog to 5.1 version? Because Easyblog 5.1 version was much better than 5.0.

if still unable to find that add location button, can you update your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Hi Alex, you are correct. I must have missed the 5.1 announcement.
I have installed it and everything looks much better.
PLUS the Location menu item is there now.

There is a problem with it cut off on my small screen notebook but I will try with a bigger screen.

Thank you very much,
David
