Many of the recent email notifications about new posts have a problem: The link doesn't work; it contains "/new-discussion/" and it shouldn't contain that.

Here's an example of one of these bad links:
http://innovativeusers.org/iug-forum/new-discussion/9757-databases-that-don-t-work-with-wildcard-certificate.html

If you take out /new-discussion it works:

hey there,

I've tried to login from your backend, but this is what i hitting now :

Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet.

Can you provide us following details so we can better have a check?
1. Unblock that login user
2. Is it all those discussions created from frontend?
3. Can i have the permission to create test discussion on your site?

The login and password I think I gave you work for me; maybe the login or password I gave you was wrong. I don't know how to give those to you privately in this response so I'll open a new ticket.

None of these discussions were created by administrators from the back end; they were created using the front end web interface or as submissions via email.

Yes, you have permission to create test discussions on our site.

I am having the same problem as well. I went to look at the second thread where you said you posted the answer, but that thread does not exist anymore.

For us, the URL includes 'discussion-forum' https://www.pediatricanesthesia.ca/discussion-forum/canadian-olympics when the real URL is https://www.pediatricanesthesia.ca/mycpas-connect/canadian-olympics

Can you please provide the solution to this?

Many thanks,

Adam Becker

Hey Adam,

It seems like that thread was under private, so you was unable to view it.

What i suggested on that thread was change to use this setting "Use Menu ItemId Determined By EasyDiscuss" from your Easydiscuss backend setting, try take a look of my attached screenshot below.

Currently I am not really sure whether your current issue is it similar with this, if the issue still persists, can you start a new thread on our forum and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?
