Problem with language-versions to subscribers (2 part question)

1. It seems counter-intuitive that there is all this language compatibility, but subscribers subscribes to all languages. Is there not a way to divide the subscribers into languages/countries?

2. When sending a danish mail the link goes to a /en/ (English)-link and therefore a 404-error to all our subscribers. Please advice.

(i have only today updated to 5.4.11 so if no. 2 is fixed in this version please just tell me)

1. Currently there is no subscriber division according to languages/countries. The only way to work around this currently is to disable site-wide subscription, and allow users to subscribe to individual categories where each category consists of a specific language.

2. I am unable to reproduce this issue in my local instance. If the blog post is created under language x, the blog post link in the email will contain language x(attached). If you are still experiencing the issue, we will have to investigate on your site directly.
