Hi StackIdeas,

For few days having an issue when try to inser an image through Media Manager on Front End.

Admin back-end is fine, upload on front-end is fine, but process hang on Insert Image.

Not really sure what is causing this. Do you think that it might be related to CloudFlare integration again?

Kind regards
Kal
Hello Kaloyan,

Hm, I think there's something not right with your cloudflare or any compressor plugin because the method window.jInsertEditorText doesn't seem to exist. When you view the source of the page you should see this function declared in javascript function jInsertEditorText(). However, something seems to be resetting it and I am suspecting that it could be your cloudflare or probably some compression plugins?

Not really sure Mark.

I will turn CloudFlare Development Mode now. Addition, I have to mention that website is using CloudFlare Railgun.

There aren't any compression plugins, just the one supplied by Joomla core.

Hello Kaloyan,

Hm I have no idea how Cloudflare really works but perhaps you should turn off all of these cdn / optimization stuffs to test it first

HI Mark,

I have to do some extra tests. Though here is what I have experienced since the start:

I used to have giant .htaccess file where everything regarding caching, gzip compression, expired headers and so on was in place - syntetic tests showed excellent score and speed no less than 12sec.
After that I used Incapsula CDN, results were terrible, somehow Incapsula used to stripp all meta data from the pages, but speed was better.

Recently took away all setings in .htaccess file, switched to CloudFlare + Railgun and things started clicking 4-5 sec loading time is simply perfect.

Right on the CloudFlare settings none of the scripts in minified - nor javascript, nor html, not even the CSS.

Do you think that problem might come from Gantry Framework caching?

Kind regards
Kal

Hello Kaloyan,

I can't really tell what the issue is because there are just too many possibilities You need to try it out one by one and the best is to try turning off the cdn first.
