Problem with field not saving in profile

Hi,

I have a country field in my profile, and I select the country and it saves it, but when I go back to edit the profile it's not saved and I have to selected it again.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked again, it seems like your country custom field using "file" type for the data source, so the reason why after you save this "España" custom country name it didn't appear is because system checked this "España" country name is it match in this file -> JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easysocial\defaults\countries.json, so it show nothing.

By the way, I already help you set back to use "Regions", it should show correctly now.

we will see what we can do in the future version regarding the file data source.

Can you give it a try and see is it working now?

Can you provide us with your FTP access so we can troubleshoot on this?

Because I tested in my local, when I change from Spain to España, it display correctly after save.

Hi Arlex,

I put my ftp info on the post. Thanks for looking at this, I tried again, and it does save, but when I go back to edit, it is no longer selected.
