Hi

I am in the process of migrating a Jomsocial site over to EasySocial.

Easyblog updates are not showing in the newsfeed, and it is saying that Easyblog is not yet installed on the site ..... but it is.

Are you able to please have a look at this for me?

Also, is it possible to have the community newsfeed visible to the public? How is this achieved?

thank you.
Much appreciated .... thanks Mark

Sorry, I am unsure why, but the easyblog integration seems to now be working, however, EasyDiscuss items are not appearing in the news stream (Recent Updates).

Does a Discussion Application need to be added?

Would also still like to know if it is possible to enable the Recent Updates that are public (eg. a new blog post or discussion) to be visible to the public.

Thanks once again.

Hello Steven,

I just checked your site but can't seem to figure out where are you seeing this message. When trying to access the blog app from your site, I do see EasyBlog as you can see here, http://take.ms/84vcD .

Can you please advise if I missed out on anything here?

Hi Mark

Thank you for looking at this.

I did update my post advising that Easyblog was now visible ...... see my previous comment in this stream.

However, I did still have 2 other questions with regards to all of this:

EasyDiscuss items are not appearing in the news stream (Recent Updates).

Does a Discussion Application need to be added?

Would also still like to know if it is possible to enable the Recent Updates that are public (eg. a new blog post or discussion) to be visible to the public.

Thanks once again.

Hello Steven,

Yep, you need to install the user EasyDiscuss app from https://stackideas.com/apps/item/6-easydiscuss . However, I believe it should be install-able directly under the "Applications" > "Application Store" section.
