Problem with cron jobs

Hello,
I just noticed that since I created a cron job for EasyBlog a file is generated on the server (SiteGround) every 30 minutes (frequency of the cron job) outside the public_html folder, why?

I contacted the SiteGround support and they told me that the problem comes from the component and not from the host ...

Thank you to explain me how to avoid this behavior

Hm, this is weird as we never seen this issue before. Can you provide us your backend, FTP and your cpanel access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Please advise.
