Hi,

Using ES 1.2.7 on Joomla 3.2.

Image uploads in albums and user avatar works fine for me. However, if uploading a cover for a group or in Edit Profile > Appearance > Profile cover, then the process hangs. In console a 404 error appears (see attached). The same occurs with group covers. Interestingly, if uploading a profile cover by clicking 'edit cover' on the placeholder image in the My Profile view, then the upload proceeds fine. Also, in registration, cover uploads fail as well.

Can you help me with this?

Jordan
Hello Jordan,

This is actually a known issue in 1.2.7. This will be fixed in 1.2.8, but I have added a patch for your site. In case anyone else faced similar problems, download the attached file and upload it into /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/cover/

If I can also add, that this is happening on two completely different ES 1.2.7 installations, one on a localhost, the other online on a very different server configuration.

I have added site access to this post. If there are code changes, please let me know so I can update my live site. The profile edit page on this domain is /community/profile/edit

Thanks for the kind compliments Josh, really needed that to offset the amount of pressure that we are getting We also would like to Thank customers like you because it's not always just about the money but the morale too!

When a customer is being disrespectful or starting a drama in the forums, our support moderators are very often demotivated and they are afraid to reply. I believe it's a 2 way handshake where customers needs to understand and we need to provide but Thank you again for the kind compliments!
