I just installed Easy Blog on my joomla-site (built on JSN Decor Pro) and I
want to use in Easy Blog as default template the jsn_decor_pro.

I followed the instructions given in the documentation from JSN Decor Pro,
but Easy Blog doesn't show the JSN Decor Pro theme, so that I can make it my standard theme.

What I did:
I copied the folder "jsn_decor_pro" from the the 'template'-file and
copied it to "components/com_easyblog/themes"
via dreamweaver.
On the server I see "components/com_easyblog/themes/jsn_decor_pro"
but when I go to the themes of EasyBlog it is not visible, so I can't make it my standard.

What else do I need to do - or what is my mistake?
Hello Johan,

Based on your explanation, you have copied jsn_decor_pro to the Easyblog themes folder? I believe it is for Joomla Template which you need to install it using Joomla Template Manager. May I know from where you get this template file? Or you can provide us your backend and FTP access along with the template file.

Hello Nick,

My website is http://www.levensmozaiek.nl, a joomla-site, where I chose the JSN Decor Pro template.
I copied the template file from this location:

http://levensmozaiek.nl/templates/jsn_decor_pro

and, you are right, copied it to the Easyblog themes folder:

http://www.levensmozaiek.nl/components/com_easyblog/themes/jsn_decor_pro

I see it on the server, but can't find it back when I am going to componentes --> Easyblog--> themes.
How can I send you a temporary backend access

Hello Johan,

This folder http://levensmozaiek.nl/templates/jsn_decor_pro is not meant for Easyblog theme. It is only for Joomla template. Unless the Template Developer has provide you the theme to be pasted in Easyblog>Themes folder.

Hello Nick,
thanks for your care. What I guess now is that I misunderstood the word theme. The instructions of the JSN-Decor template considering the installation to Easy Blog were this:

Installation
1. You install EasyBlog via Joomla! administration.
2. Log in the Customer Area, download JSN Decor theme.
3. Unzip file jsn_decor_theme_unzip_me_first.zip, then copy the folder jsn_decor to the path joomla_root\
components\com_easyblog\themes
4. Go to Component -> EasyBlog -> Themes -> Set jsn_decor as default
Now you have the JSN Decor theme on your blog.

So, if I understand you right, I need the JSN Decor theme.
and that this is different from the folder jsn_decor?
I looked already in the Customer Area, but couldn't find anything about JSN Decor theme.

Hello Johan,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Perhaps, you can also provide us the jsn_decor_theme_unzip_me_first.zip file.

Nick, here am I again. In the meantime I found out where I could find the jsn_decor_theme_unzip_me_first.zip file.
THAT file was what I needed and this one I had to copy to EasyBlog themes.
Everything worked out fine, I misunderstood the instructions and copied at first the wrong folder.
your hint made it clear to me, thank you a lot.
