I am using the zoo plugin and I cannot get people to auto-subscribe. I have several test users all making comments but there are no subscribers being made. I have the auto-subscribe turned on in notifications. When I turn off auto subscribe and I cannot see any links to subscribe. I can subscribe people manually from the backend and they get notifications but that is the only way I can do it.

After further check this issues, seems like this setting https://take.ms/xSN58 are disabled. I have enabled them for you and it should works as it should now.

Please give it a check and see how it goes.

Hi there,

Seem like i cannot replicate this issues on my end as it is subscribed without any issues. By the way, given FTP only shown this https://take.ms/9RBMi on my end. Can you provide us with valid FTP so that we can further check this issues?

There was an issue with my hosting provider. You can use the same credentials on the ftp and it should work.

I logged into the site and I do not see any subscribers on the subscribers' page
If you auto subscribe then your user I created for you should show up here because you made a comment but I do not see it.



I replied to your comment and your user did not get an email notification. The only email notification that was sent out was a notification to the admin because I set it up so the super admin gets all notifications.



I would expect this behavior:
User A comments. RESULT: User A auto subscribed.
User B comments. RESULT: User B auto subscribed & User A gets email notification

Is this not how the behavior should work?

I also tested on a Joomla article with the default Joomla template. I cannot get any notifications to happen unless I specify in the user group but then all the users in that group get notified on any new comment.
