Can you please elaborate more on this please? What issues do you have with Kunena and K2? Did you already installed the app and plugins for K2 and Kunena respectively?

Just in case you are confused why are there plugins and apps, K2 and Kunena relies on Joomla plugins and we hook the plugin to their events to generate new stream items. Plugins are install-able via Joomla's Extension manager.

Apps in EasySocial on the other hand generates the output of the stream and displays the recent posts on the user's profile page. Apps should be installed via EasySocial's application section.

I just installed this and integrated it. You need to download two items from the app store here.

plg_kunena_1.0.4 and kunena_1.4.2. One is installed via Joomla, one as an ES app.

Make sure you have installed Kunena (hint: disable Global Joomla cache during the installation) then, install the two programs above. Activate them and you are good to go.

Works like a complete charm. It adds the posts to the stream, shows the correct user/avatar etc.
