problem SEO EB5 vs Sh404SEF

Hi,
i have many problems after upgrading to EasyBlog 5 and didn't receive a complete and useful answer for my questions at all
The Ranking is the most item for any moderator but EasyBlog5 has many basic changes on SEO and it's not compatible with SH404SEF it can make loss on our websites and people using EasyBlog.

both of them are using canonical links !!! and make duplicate links and i don't want to my old links changes anyway. it can make a hard damage on my website. i lost many links with 1st Google Rank :|

i thought just the "easyblog" has been translated to Persian but you can see the changes some other places (see the red colored items)

if you can't fix this problem with extra extensions please make some solution for getting canonical links from SH404SEF extension ONLY.

i have not any other choices because i'm really happy with EasyBlog system and i don't want loss my all Traffic and Ranks! my website is my business and it can be destroyed wholly (

Do you mean you want the term /EasyBlog/ in the URL? Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

at this time there are two links for any Post. just the "EasyBlog" is not translated by system rather the "Category" added too! please Paying attention images below ((changed and added parts are highlighted by squares)):

two parts are changed and i highlighted the extra changed parts after upgrading with blue. the main problem is the SITE MAP is replacing the old indexed links on google with new links.

Please be careful about changing links (i don't want any links change)

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

I've checked in your site, I noticed you have changed your Easyblog setting to use `menu item id - 517` is because I remember previously you set "default", the reason why `EasyBlog` alias didn't shown on blog URL is because you set this menu item id 517 is your site default menu item.

Can I have the permission to change back to use "Default" and see how it goes?

Also can I have the permission to help you clear all the Easyblog SEF URL from SH404SEF extension then let it SH404sef extension regenerate the correct URL again?

if my links won't change and my index won't get any damage, test it please but if my links get any change my website will destroy certainly​ and after new google indexing i have not my last 1st Ranking on google search results, it means my business will destroy at all
please consider this important point.

Yes I will consider it before I test as you already mentioned what happen if those link get changed.

May I ask you a few question below?
#1. What is the reason you change the Easyblog SEO routing behaviour from `Default` to `use menu item id -> 517`?
#2. Do you have any test site so we can test on this for prevent your current facing all the traffic as you mentioned at above?
#3. If you have a test site exactly with your current live site, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access as well?

1. after upgrading to EasyBlog5 the 517 item id was default value and i didn't change it.
2.there is a test site with this address test.seocommunity.ir it is exactly the original copy of my website you can login with current username and pass
3.the FTP and other information are look like current information, you can access them all by on my sub domain:

We have applied some fix in these files, created a hidden menu item, set use menu item id - 2050
/public_html/test/components/com_easyblog/sef_ext/categories.php
/public_html/test/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/category.php

Can you give it a try and see the URL is it same as previously?

Yes, all of the fix file you have to do the backup in the future.

After we fix all of your current issue, I will list down step by step how to upload on your live site.

I have override some of the view layout language in this file -> /public_html/test/language/overrides/fa-IR.override.ini , so it won't translate those view layout language string to persian language.

Regarding with your first issue you mentioned, may i know how do you view this following post by clicking on your frontend menu? Because I would like to check why the URL got 14 id there.

2.find some way to transfer my saved links on sh404sef automatically to new generated links you are trying to make, i think it is so hard redirect all of them manually (redirecting loss many SEO advantage at all)

Actually I am not really how you get this URL from the test site, may i know is it copy the URL from the browser address bar?
If yes, I think that was some problem, because if you copy the URL from the browser address bar, the Unicode will get translated to A6%

I've checked again, it seems like this /Blog/ link cached in Sh404sef, after cleared all the link again, it regenerated correct like now.

By the way, may i know how to access your test site sitemap? Because I checked in your test site, there do not have any sitemap extension. Please advise.

That strange, I have no ideas why if you're the first time click the link at here : http://www.test.seocommunity.ir/index.php/EasyBlog/1-مقالات-آموزشی-سئو/152-seo-tutorials-ways-to-increase-website-traffic.html , it will show 404 error, but if you copy the link from here, and paste on browser address bar, it work fine, after that when you click the link again on this thread reply, it work fine also.

Unfortunately was not possible that sh404sef links redirect to easyblog.
By the way, I already checked on your test site all of your Easyblog post URL xmap link -> http://www.test.seocommunity.ir/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=xml , it seems like do not have /blog/ anymore, because yesterday I already purged all the cached link from sh404sef.
May i know which sitemap inside the post link still having the issue?

if i clear the sh404sef cache in my live site, all links get many problems!
it is impossible because of big link building for any post on my live site.

To be honestly, I am not familiar with bring this Sh404sef link over to another site.

By the way, If you using Sh404sef in your site, all the Easyblog link will generated by Sh404sef.

I will update your live site Easyblog to latest version, then apply these hack file in your site and clear all the Easyblog SEF URL from Sh404sef and see everything is correct or not.

Before I proceed this, can you backup your live site first?

I have a full backup of my website.
You fixed 90% of my website. Can you apply these fixes on my live site and upgrade it to latest version?
The problem has been fixed with sh404sef on my test site without uninstalling it!
It seems you fixed the problem with sh404sef and i need the same fixes on my libe site too.

Attention: i just transfered the joomla basic files and DB not photos and videos.
Please suspend the website before any change!

I've checked in your live site Easyblog SEF URL link got around 127100 link , check my screenshot below.

Somehow Sh404sef got some bug when you select `ALL` filter, it always return back `20` filter, so I am unable to delete all the Easyblog link in one time.

May i know do you have any custom SEF link in your SH404sef extension? Because I would like to delete all the component SEF URL link from sh404sef, so let SH404sef regenerate the new link for all of your component.

Great ! Thanks for getting back to us all the link work fine now.

I also modified this language file but it will not get affected if you update next version.
JoomlaFolder/language/overrides/fa-IR.override.ini

So you only have to backup these 2 files before update next new version in the future.
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/sef_ext/categories.php
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/category.php

Okay, keep us updated then.
