Problem registering as new user?

Hello Support

I have been having problems registering as a new user. I am pretty sure this used to work. I am currently at “es test017” user number 17!!! I register. Get the confirmation mail and then try to login. I get either an error 404 or invalid token message. Somehow though I seem to be logged in anyway. I can navigate to my profile and make changes if I open my website in another tab in the same browser!!! And in the back end I see that my test user has actually logged in. Could some one from support please test this for me and see if they can replicate this issue!?!

hey paul,
I just registered at your site and checked the issue. the problem was coming from a misconfiguration in the login redirection setting. you pointed it to an old community link that isn't available / active right now and that way the re-direction ended on a 404 site.

I switched it to the correct community link and now everything's working as it should.

Thanks. I guess that this was the ghost of CB raising it head one more time? Like in nightmare on elm street part 14.

yeah sure,
you can find this setting at easysocial backend -> settings -> users -> authentication
in this box I changed the value of "login redirection"

should run fine now as long as you don't shout beetlejuice 3 times
