Hello , I set up EASYDISCUSS, but have serious problem on new registration ,

When a new user try registering he get this error :

Attenzione
Registrazione fallita: Registrazione fallita: Duplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO `g6305_discuss_users` (`nickname`,`description`,`url`,`params`,`points`,`location`,`signature`) VALUES ('','','','{\"facebook\":\"\",\"twitter\":\"\",\"linkedin\":\"\",\"skype\":\"\"}','0','','')

Existing users have been migrated from a previous Joomla

Could you please help me ??
Hello Allot77,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tried to access in your cpanel, it look like you provided that login credential is not working

You also can apply this fixes in your file > JoomlaFolder\plugins\user\easydiscussprofile\easydiscussprofile.php

LINE 195

$profile->params = $userparams->toString();

if( !$profile->store() )
{

Replace with,

$profile->params = $userparams->toString();

if( !$profile->id )
{
$profile->id = $userId;
}

if( !$profile->store() )
{

Hope this help.

Hello Giulio Curà,

Sorry for late reply to this,
it seems like you hitting that error during the registration is because the system duplicate entry '0' from your database table g6305_discuss_users
see my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/RBki8wc3aF (can you see that id=0 that user " lucius801 ")
May i know that user is it still available in your site? Because the ID should not be 0.
Maybe when you migrate the user from old site to new site, all the disable user data also migrated in your new site then causing out this error.

Sorry but I cannot understand we'll..

the Lucius user is still available ( see screenshot attached )

This user is not been migrated from the old joomla ( did you added it yourself? ) new id's are highs and start from 1563… so i cannot understand how this user id is set to 0

Can be enough deleting this user ?

Hello !!

During registration two raws are inserted on discuss user table

-one has the right infromations with the right ID ( auto incremented)

-the other comes with id=0 and nulls values

if I do cancel ID=o user from database it gives me successful registration, but if I try a new one it gives me the same error since every registration query insert 2 rows:
as above, one with the right ID and one with ID=0

Any help ??

Hi, I have the same problem here.
No migrations done, just a fresh installation of Easy discuss.
I was trying to do some test registering new users as I've encountered the same warning message during new registrations.
So I have deleted all "test users" from database and seems that the problem is solved.
But I noticed that all the time I do a new registration, a user with ID "0" is created in the database on the table " i0z92_discuss_users"
Also noticed that if I delete users form joomla backend, them are still visible in Easy discuss "users" backend.
Hope you can help me
