Let's see if I can explain.
I have a module that displays the latest threads pointing to this address:
/ forum / sell-wedding-dress-pattern-radiosa.html
but if I go in to the component exits the url so
/ forum / try-Cendo-used-clothing / sell-wedding-dress-pattern-radiosa.html
How can I fix the problem?

Hello Stefano,

It seems like your SEO haven't set that "MenuItemID" by default to your Forum Menu, because you created many category menu in your side, so the Easydiscuss system will generate messed up that URL, i have help you configure that SEO setting to "MenuItemID" ( http://screencast.com/t/Ty0VpPRy ), so it should work fine now.
Please have a check before clear your Joomla cache and browser cache, Hope this help.

there is an error in the link dellle categories, if you go here:

and as you can see from the screenshot click on the indicated item pointing to a wrong url.

Hmm, actually that URL http://www.torinosposiweb.com/forum/vendo-abito-sposa-modello-radiosa.html format is http://yousidename.com/forum/title.html .
If you click that category menu, that format is http://yousidename.com/forum/category.html
Actually what URL format you expected? Please advise.

The problem is that if I click as shown in the screenshot in my previous post pointing me to this url
/ forums / categories / listings / try-sell-clothing-usati.html
you can not remove url from categories / listings /?

Hello Stefano,

Did you have clear your browser cache, Joomla cache and Easydiscuss cache? Because I'm suspected that was cache issues, when i change that setting before your URL format is like that " / forums / categories / listings / try-sell-clothing-usati.html ", after i change it then i clear all the cache just i mentioned it to you just now, then it work fine now.

I'm sorry that misunderstanding on your previous reply,
Hmm, unfortunately that category URL format cannot be remove it from your discussion post in current system.
Based on your situation, I can suggest a better way to achieve it. You can use that "sh404sef" component to help you remove that URL "category/listing".

I do not use sh404sef or other components because in my opinion do not work well and are useless and often harmful.
I hope you solve the problem with the next updates of EasyDiscussion because for example EasyBlog does not have this problem.
