I'm sorry guys, I ran into this while trying to work on my client's dev site.

How am I supposed to prep changes for client site without full access to a development area?

Can I change the domain to the root domain, will that work?
Hm, the subdomain should work fine as we do not restrict subdomains as long as the primary domain is source4networks.org.uk.

The product is GPL and it doesn't violate the GPL rules. You are downloading the source files for language files from a service which we provide. As a matter of fact, you can also download the source language files yourself from https://www.transifex.com/stack-ideas/es2/

P/S: Regardless if the language file is accessible or not, the product still works. This is a common misunderstanding about the GPL license.

Hey Gary,

The restrictions for the languages are associated to the domain on your license. What is the development site's domain?

the root is the same.

I always configure dev subdomain for sites

so http://www.source4networks.org.uk & dev.source4networks.org.uk

The product is reported to be GPL, doesn't this break that?
