Had a minor situation on my site today that required admin intervention. I had the client add me to the conversation so I could see the offending message, and when adding someone to a conversation they do not see parts of the conversation that happened before they joined it. Is there any way to fix this, so that a member who joins a conversation already in progress can see the posts that are there before he joined.
Hello,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

By default, after adding new user to a existing conversation, the new user will not see the old messages. So in order to archive this, you will need to customise your EasySocial. Attached the modified file on conversation, when you add someone into a conversation, the new member will able to see the previous messages This file will work only on EasySocial version 1.2.19

Download the php file 'conversation.php' and upload the file into 'JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easysocial/tables/' and overwrite the existing conversation.php. Remember to backup the original file before you use this modified version.

Also, if you've already added your user into the conversation, what you need to do is remove the user from the conversation and then re-add the user into your conversation. By doing this, your user will able to see the previous messages again

Let me know if the above work for you or not.

Hope this help and have a nice day
Sam
