1. I need to provide my EasySocial groups with their own EasyDiscuss pool of questions / discussion-threads.

2. When someone joins an EasySocial group they are automatically assigned to a Joomla group
3. When someone is assigned to a Joomla group they are automatically added to an EasySocial group.
4. When an EasySocial group is added we add a Joomla group (under a specific branch)
5. When a group is added to Joomla (under a specific branch) we add a group to EasySocial.
>> I believe this cannot be done since EasySocial group and Joomla group are 2 different thing. Joomla group is a user group, which equivalent to profile types in EasySocial, while EasySocial group is a social group.

6. We would like to show a users discussions within his profile page but I think that we can do this with the EasyDiscuss app.

7. Unfortunately this is proving very difficult to accomplish. It would be much easier if EasyDiscuss categories could be assigned directly to EasySocial groups.

Yes. It does, but there are more features in EasyDiscuss. Our users are used to using it and we have literally tens of thousands of existing posts that we would have to try to move to EasySocial. So unless the one in EasySocial has all the same features, looks the same and there is a way to migrate the discussions in EasySocial are not really an option for us.

Yes. That is the App that we would use.

Yes... hence my question... and I take it from your comment that this is not something that is coming soon... which leads me back to needing to find a way to sync EasySocial groups and Joomla groups / memberships so that users who are in EasySocial groups have access to related EasyDiscuss threads.

Perhaps you might know of a developer who would help us with this? The person we have working on it now does not seem to be able to do this.
