Hello Mohdyasseribz,
This is a repost as per your request. Apologies if there has already been some work done in this area that I am unaware of. I am coming back to this project after having been working on other things.
I need to provide my EasySocial groups with their own EasyDiscuss pool of questions / discussion-threads.
EasyDiscuss categories can be assigned (secured) to Joomla Groups / Users so we have been trying to synchronize EasySocial groups and Joomla groups so that:
* when someone joins an EasySocial group they are automatically assigned to a Joomla group
* when someone is assigned to a Joomla group they are automatically added to an EasySocial group.
* when an EasySocial group is added we add a Joomla group (under a specific branch)
* when a group is added to Joomla (under a specific branch) we add a group to EasySocial.
Secondarily we would like to show a users discussions within his profile page but I think that we can do this with the EasyDiscuss app.
Unfortunately this is proving very difficult to accomplish. It would be much easier if EasyDiscuss categories could be assigned directly to EasySocial groups.
Does that help make it clearer?
Thanks
Chris
