I am trying to align the privacy settings so what is in the backend is the same as the frontend user by default. It seems they are different and even if I tick the "Reset existing privacy items" and save, nothing happens.
See image 1 of the backend of 'who can view photos' and the frontend of a user in image 2.

Also related to privacy, please see image 3 and tell me what that icon symbolizes in the red circle. Because then when i click on it, it's showing me 3 options but none have that "single person icon".

Might i add that if i click on Custom, i cannot ESC or unSelect so i can choose another option, if i clicked on it by mistake i will have to refresh the page and lose all the content of the post i am about to share. i dont know if it's meant to operate like that or if it's a glitch.

Thanks.

Thanks Abdul, it was all that cache that was causing the problems. I can see clearly now. thanks

Regarding the backend and front end (images 1 and 2), it is still not consistent. Front end still shows that registered members can view my photos even though the backend has the "my friends" option selected.
Please test this yourself.
thanks

Hi there,

Not sure if i understand you here actually. May i know how exactly you view them? If you viewing them using Super User user, you are allowed to see all content on the site regardless it privacy.

Tried using testuser(newly created user/normal user) and this what i see currently http://take.ms/OjCRgZ. Please advice.

Maybe i have miss understand them, can you provide us with those necessary information and steps to replicate this as i might missed something out. Please advice.

Hey Abdul thanks for your reply.
I have not tried to test this with another account. I just saw the difference in privacy settings between the backend and the user privacy settings in their Manage Privacy page.

Further to this, can you see berti's profile?
Because in the backend i have set it to My friends but on berti's privacy settings it shows that Registered Users can view the account.

Do you see what i mean?
