Hi,

I have installed and customized EasySocial. Everything is working as expected - except the Privacy Settings and the Notification Settings. For Privacy I do only see the settings for Video. All other categories don't show at all.

For notifications it is similar. Here I do only see the settings for Advertisements. All other options don't show.

Can you please check? Credentials have been added.

Thanks
Uwe
Hi Uwe,

Can you provide us the 2nd layer access(attached)?

Hey Uwe,

The privacy and notification setting filters are located in the sidebar(it should look like the attached screenshot). If you have customized the sidebar, please check your customization again. You can also revert the customization to the original codes to confirm.

I know, but if you have a look at the respective page you can see that other modules are displayed in the module-position es-sidebar. I don't understand why privacy and notifications don't show. There must be some other reason for that. There is no code change, just some css-styling. I have also deactivated the css and they don't show.

Can you please check again?

The es-sidebar module is currently assigned to the es-dashboard-aside position. This is incorrect. The correct position for the sidebar is es-sidebar.

I tried changing the position earlier but I encountered an error with a 3rd party module.

From the documentation (https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/module-positions/edit-privacy-position) I can see that the module position on the left side is es-profile-editprivacy-sidebar-top.

I have unpublished all modules for the respective page but still no settings for the privacy show. Also I have unpublished the CWhire-module. No change. Now the privacy settings for video show on the whole width of the page but the module still does not show.

Maybe I have a misunderstanding but the module position es-profile-editprivacy-sidebar-top should be filled with the right module by default, right? Or do I have to assign a certain module to this position?

Any other idea?

Ohhhh .... now I understand. I did not read exactly what you said about the es-sidebar module and that it is in the wrong position. I changed that and now the privacy settings are here. Sorry for my bad focus ;-)
