Mabye you have seen that I am just a customer like you are. I wanted to help you out by saving time until the support will give you an answer. Otherwise you will have to wait for the support which will probably due to the time at the moment will take longer than going through the options by yourself the moment you posted this.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Please find my answers from your inquiries below.

1. I dont want option of add as friend
2. I want others see users images and some personal data, but not add them or contact them

Currently it is not possible to restrict user from adding friends inside easysocial. You can set initially set the privacy of each users inside your backend > easysocial > profile types > select your profile > privacy, set the privacy and click on the checkbox here, http://screencast.com/t/E513OjNrqBXy . However user are still able to change their own privacy when they edit their profile later on.

3. I dont want users to start conversations and others joining in

You can turn off conversation system by going to your backend > easysocial > settings > conversations > enable conversations set to "No".

4. It would be helpful to have an option of searching registered users profiles by their features e.g. age etc.
