I see that Easyblog has several themes. How can i see the preview? I want create sport blog, so which one can i use in this case?
Best regards
Hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Currently that was not possible to preview the theme from backend, it only appear the theme layout after you switch your current theme to another theme, then refresh on your Easyblog frontpage.

Hm, actually that would very hard to recommend which theme is suitable for sport blog site. Based on my experience, it also depend on your current template background color and layout.

I am interested in this too. I just updated one of my J2.5 sites to J3.x and updated EasyBlog. Now under the themes there's no way to see a preview of the theme. Previously you could hover over the name and it would show a thumbnail preview of the theme. Is there somewhere I can view the themes in the documentation?

hey Lisa,

That was good ideas too, I will request our docs administrator to create this.

But for now, I would suggest you check it from our demo page so you can select different theme and see the different layout -> http://easyblog.stackideas.com/

Hello Arlex,

One of my client is using this plugin but they are not able to see the preview. After enabling pop up it's redirecting on preview URL but it's giving error 500 instead of showing preview.

Any suggestion how to resolve this?

Thanks,
James

Hey James,

Make sure your client have login from frontend as well when he trying to preview the blog post.

By the way, it looks like your account isn't tied up with any subscriptions on our site. Is there any mistake on our end? Would it be possible for you to contact us at https://crm.stackideas.com and provide us with the order reference and your username so that we can fix this up for you?

I asked this over a year ago... is there any way to add the preview thumbnail into the theme section of the configuration of easyblog?
Or is there a way you could create a documentation page with all of them on one page. It's kind of a pain to switch the them, refresh then keep changing the theme til we find right one.

Thanks

Hey Lisa,

Yep, we do see your feature request but we decided not to pursuit this because by adding more images into the core package, it would rake up the size of the installer. If each image is 100kb, we are looking at an additional 1.x mb depending on the number of themes available.

If you need to preview a theme, may I suggest that you try it out from http://easyblog.stackideas.com as we have a theme switcher that allows you to switch themes and have a preview of how it looks like
