I am not sure if this is coincidental or not but right now the Preview Post option on EasyBlog is not working for any of the blogs. They are all returning a 404 error.

We are now using Joomla 3.5 and PHP7. I wonder if that could be the cause of this problem?
Hi Sean Carney,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I have tried to replicate this issue on your site and locally, and it works just fine
( Please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/3wS7A5322Z). In order you can see the preview post, you also have to login on your front end.

Hope this helps . Have a nice day ahead Sean.

Thank you Muhammad,

I know that there is an option to use Preview Post in the backend but it sounds like you are telling me this only works from the front-end. Unfortunately we pretty much work exclusively from the back-end because it is easier. But, the inability to use the preview is an inconvience. What our editors do now is write their blogs in K2 of all places and then preview it there. They then copy the source code into an EasyBlog post. That seems very backwards but we get the best results that way since we are not able to preview in EasyBlog from the backend. Hopefully this will be enabled soon. Actually I believe it was enabled previously.

Hey Sean,

It should work from the back end as well as long as you are using the core SEF in Joomla. I think my colleague may have misunderstood this.

Anyway I have just tried this on your site and it does seem to be working for me. Try to login as the admin and see this link, http://www.drcarney.com/index.php/blog?view=entry&layout=preview&uid=536.1138

Thank you very much Mark,

That link you send me did work. I have since removed the two test blogs.

However, the problem we have is a bit different and you can test it by opening up any of our recent blogs and then select the upward facing arrow next to the Save For Later button and select the option to "Preview Post".

then you will get a 404 error. :-)

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks again, Sean

I believe that I may have been trying to preview some pages that had already been published. I suspect that this feature only works on unpublished items and then allows you to publish them. So, my guess is that everything is working fine except for my expectations. :-)

Hi Sean,

Correct me if I'm wrong, do you mean that the preview feature is working only for unpublish post only but not for post that have already published? If yes, actually it suppose to be work for both unpublish and published post
